Rise & Build isn't just a construction project — it's a step of obedience for the future of Amarillo. In 2012, Power Church started as a handful of people who believed God wasn't finished with this city. Fourteen years later, under Pastors Manny and Rachel de los Santos, that handful has grown into a family of nearly 2,000 — and God is doing it again.
We've said yes to a bold next step: transforming the former United Artists Theater at I-40 and Soncy into our new home. A building that once opened its doors to families for movie nights will now open its doors to families for something far greater; hope, healing, and a relationship with Jesus. We acquired this 650-space, 40-plus-restroom facility at less than half its appraised value, proof that God is already making a way for what He's called us to do.
This isn't about expanding walls. It's about expanding our capacity to reach people.
Rise & Build invites every Power Church family to join this holy assignment. As Nehemiah declared to a broken Jerusalem, "Let us rise up and build" (Nehemiah 2:18).
Daily Discipleship
Power Church is alive throughout the week with classes, groups, rehearsals, and gatherings that equip every age and stage to grow in their faith. From marriage and parenting sessions to youth nights and leadership development, we create consistent opportunities for people to be discipled, connected, and strengthened.
Family Ministry
Our new facility will allow us to expand safe, dynamic spaces for children and youth; places designed for fun, belonging, and encounters with Jesus. We are building a home where the next generation can discover purpose, build confidence, and form lifelong faith foundations.
Support for Communities
This building is more than a church campus; it’s a hub of hope for East Amarillo. It will provide room for outreach events, food distribution, and partnerships that meet practical needs. We are positioning ourselves to be present, available, and actively transforming the community we serve.
